Xoriant is hiring a skilled API Automation Test Engineer to join its quality engineering team across Pune, Gurugram, and Bengaluru. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in API automation, Selenium with Java, and CI/CD pipelines, who enjoy working in Agile environments and building robust automated testing solutions.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise-grade applications by designing and executing scalable automation frameworks.

🔧 Skills & Technical Requirements

✅ Core Skills (Mandatory)

• Strong hands-on experience in API Automation Testing
• Expertise in Selenium with Java
• Experience with Postman and/or JMeter for API testing and performance validation
• Knowledge of UI Automation and Cross-Browser Testing
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
• Experience in Database Testing using SQL
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

📋 Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks
• Automate test scenarios using Selenium + Java for UI and API layers
• Execute and validate APIs using Postman/JMeter
• Perform cross-browser UI automation testing
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct database validations using SQL queries
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test strategies and processes

• 3–5 years of experience in API and automation testing
• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC)
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams
