We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Nursing Supervisor to lead, guide, and manage nursing staff while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, hands-on clinical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively with doctors and hospital administration.
🩺 Roles & Responsibilities
Clinical & Patient Care
- Supervise daily nursing operations across wards/units
- Ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital protocols
- Monitor patient safety, hygiene, and infection control standards
- Handle critical situations and escalate to doctors when required
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and guide staff nurses and nursing assistants
- Prepare duty rosters and manage shift allocations
- Conduct regular training, orientation, and performance reviews
- Address staff concerns, discipline, and grievance handling
Coordination & Administration
- Coordinate with doctors, department heads, and hospital management
- Ensure proper documentation of patient records and nursing notes
- Monitor availability and usage of medical supplies and equipment
- Support audits, NABH/JCI standards, and hospital quality initiatives
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
- Maintain nursing SOPs, protocols, and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement and patient satisfaction programs
🎓 Qualifications
- GNM / B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing
- Valid Nursing Council Registration
- Supervisory or leadership experience is mandatory
